About Christopher Quinn

I’m Christopher Quinn, the writer behind Pup Command! I adopted my first dog, Loki—a Border Collie/Jack Russell mix—after exiting Army service in the summer of 2012. That decision set me on a path I’ve followed ever since: studying canine behavior, practicing positive-reinforcement training, and sharing what actually works for real families.

Over the past decade, I’ve worked hands-on with hundreds of dogs from all kinds of backgrounds. In the last two years alone, I’ve fostered 30+ rescue dogs, helping them decompress, learn house skills, and transition into permanent homes. I studied Principles of Dog Training & Behavior at Penn Foster, and I continue to learn every day—from the science, from mentors, and most of all from the dogs in front of me.

Training should be simple, humane, and evidence-based.
Clarity beats force. Dogs do best when we make the right choice easy and rewarding.
